Buckhannon is the 'place to be' on Friday nights all summer long and into the fall. Every Friday from June through September, people from all over the state can come to enjoy music, entertainment, demonstrations, food, West Virginia-grown produce, and handmade products. Children's activities will range from face painting to learning to juggle. Some of the items for sale will include local, organic produce, food, jewelry, textiles and hand-carved wood products.

Spooky Night Tours at the WV Wildlife Center

This will mark the 7th year for this family-friendly event. We have already started planning and building new props. Hayrides will start at 4:30 p.m. and will last until just before 7:00 p.m. At that time, we’ll clear the tractors out of the way and start the guided tours of the animal exhibits. The maze will be open from 4:30 to 9:00 p.m. We welcome your group for this event. Please call the office at least one week in advance so we can prepare for your visit and ensure things run smoothly for you.
