Welcome to Trails Heaven
Named after the bitter family feud that started over 150 years ago, the Hatfield-McCoy Trail Systems spans over 1,000 miles through much of southern West Virginia. Ride through Bearwallow in Logan County and the Pocahontas Trail in Mercer County before stopping to stay in the Historic Matewan House. Whether you’re an avid ATV rider or a beginner looking for some adventure, the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System offers miles of trails for everyone. Besides ATV Trails, the region is also home to over 1,000 miles of motorcycle routes, known as the Devil’s Den, after William Anderson “Devil Anse” Hatfield.
