Conveniently located at Mile Marker 179, the I-64 Westbound West Virginia Welcome Center is a gateway to the state of West Virginia and the beautiful Greenbrier Valley. The area is home to Lewisburg, which was chosen as Budget Travel Magazine’s ‘Coolest Small Town in America’ in 2011, and the world-class Greenbrier Resort. We are also approximately an hour and a half from whitewater rafting adventure in the New River Gorge National River, as well as the iconic New River Gorge Bridge.
The facility is accessible 24 hours a day, offering clean restrooms, snack vending, outdoor picnic tables and grills, and a scenic overlook trail. During the daytime hours, a member of the Wild, Wonderful West Virginia staff can assist with directions, information, and in-state reservations.
