Canaan Valley Resort State Park attracts snow sport enthusiasts from around the world, and while many of those come for skiing and snowboarding, many also come for snow tubing. The park boasts an impressive snow tubing park that features runs that are 1,200 feet long – making it the longest multi-lane snow tubing park in the Mid-Atlantic. In order to reach the top of the tubing runs, the park offers visitors a “magic carpet” that will transport them up the mountain where they will be met with jaw-dropping panoramic views of Canaan Valley.

Winterplace Ski Resort, in the southern part of the state, offers thrills for everyone. Adults and children alike enjoy the snow tubing park, which happens to be the largest in West Virginia. This park features 14 lanes of fun with two carpet lifts so you don’t have to waste any time getting back up the hill. Snow tubes are provided, but laughs are required!

For the ultimate thrill of the season, check out Snowshoe Mountain Resort’s Coca-Cola Tube Park. This six story, eight-lane tube park will have you unleashing your inner child and was spotlighted by Garden & Gun. The new Galactic Tubing and Party Deck provide a multi-color LED light show and a spacious party deck to enjoy the season with your friend and family.

A new addition to the snow-tubing landscape in West Virginia is “Snow Riders,” a sister company of warm-weather destination, River Riders, just outside of Harpers Ferry. Slated to open in February 2023, this snow-tubing hill will be the perfect location for those visiting the Eastern Panhandle.
