Cookies & Canvas Library Event
Come join us for our Cookies & Canvas Painting Event with Deborah Ross Smith as our Paintbrush Social Instructor! Create a painted masterpiece on canvas, while nibbling on a sweet treat. All supplies included (paint, canvas, and sweets). Be sure to wear clothes to paint in! Participation open to adults of any age and children 13 and older. Santa Claus at Coonskin Park
The Jolly Old Elf makes his appearance at Coonskin Park from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dec 7-9. Bring your camera to get pix of the kids with Santa, who will be giving out cookies, hot chocolate, and candy canes. "Hoppy's" Little Express train rides are also available.
Holiday Ornaments from Nature
Just in time for holiday gift-giving, join WVBG Educator Stacy Clovis-Woofter to craft unique ornaments from natural materials. A special children’s holiday story will be read, with hot cocoa and cookies to enjoy. Most appropriate for children ages 3 and older. $15 for WVBG members, $20 for non-members. Please register by Monday, November 27. * All activities take place at the West Virginia Botanic Garden, 1061 Tyrone Rd., Morgantown, WV 26508 unless otherwise noted. Families are invited on December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17, 2016 to create memories through this interactive Christmas Adventure! Children will write letters to Santa Claus, assist Santa’s elves in his workshop, try Mrs. Claus’ Christmas cookies, and even meet Santa Claus himself on this fun, one-of-a-kind experience.
