Riverfest
Riverfest has been around for nearly a quarter of a century, and it gets better every year! Enjoy free admission and entertainment. Shop for crafts and visit food vendors. This is an annual 4 day event, along the renovated riverfront, with Live Music on stage. Newly added this year is a Beer Garden with domestic and craft beers, carnival and games (carnival fee for rides and game trailers), lots of craft and food vendors, and fireworks Saturday night. Family friendly activities all 4 days!!
West Virginia Black Walnut Festival
Founded in 1954, the West Virginia Black Walnut Festival began as a gathering centered around bringing your walnuts to Spencer to have them weighed and sold to the nut company. 64 years later, the BWF is going strong with a carnival, crafts, live music, a car show, exhibits, a grand parade, good food and great times!

Cabell County Fair
Enjoying the Cabell County Fair each year has been a family tradition since 1983. Residents of the county may show their prize garden produce, livestock, and arts & crafts. The prime emphasis of the fair is to provide 4-H and FFA members the opportunity to exhibit their projects. Concerts, horse shows, carnival, pageants and much more guarantees fun for everyone!
Mason County Fair
Fun for the whole family! Exhibits, livestock shows, pageants, contests, live entertainment, motocross races, tractor/truck pulls, carnival rides and much more. Discount Day. Senior Citizen Day on Tuesday. General admission and season pass tickets available, carnival rides are an additional fee.
WV Strawberry Festival
The WV Strawberry Festival is a unique, traditional celebration to honor the strawberry harvest. Enthusiastic volunteers provide good, family style entertainment that offers exciting educational and cultural events for everyone. Children and adults alike will enjoy the fun and thrills of the carnival. Take a stroll through the arts and craft exhibits, quilt show, photography show, or the souvenir shop. Enjoy the variety of Main Street and Courthouse entertainment or stop by the band competition, car show, strawberry auction, or your favorite sporting event.
