Good Shepherd Caregivers will be holding our annual Potter’s Bowl at the Shepherdstown Fire Department on Friday, April 6, 2018, beginning at 6:00pm-doors open at 5:30pm. Choose a pottery item to keep and enjoy the soups, bread, wine, beverages, and desserts. Shop an array of items in the silent & live auctions! Tickets are $30 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Activities and times are: 11 a.m., tours of Graceland, free; 11a.m. - 2 p.m., lunch on the veranda soup and sandwich buffet, $12, tickets at door, Graceland; 2-3 p.m., tours of Pearl S. Wednesday, February 1st, will be a special Whiskey Wednesday for us as we will have the legendary folk musician, Bill Staines, play here starting at 7:30pm. Come out and see this wonderful folk artist 40 years in the making. Singing mostly his own songs, Staines has become one of the most popular and durable singers on the folk music scene today, performing nearly 200 concerts a year and driving over 65,000 miles annually. He weaves a blend of gentle wit and humor into his performances and one reviewer wrote, "He has a sense of timing to match the best standup comics".
