A Handmade Christmas in Shepherdstown

You're invited to a free 100% handmade arts and crafts show in historic Shepherdstown, WV inside Town Run Tap House, featuring 17 local vendors. Shop for handmade gifts from soaps, lotion, jewelry, paintings, purses, knit items, and much more. The Tap House will have food, drink, and even a children's play area to entertain the kids while parents browse work from local artists. Door prizes! Mountain Color Arts Show

Started in 1985, the Mountain Color Arts Show has grown to showcase local talent, as well as talent from the surrounding counties and states. This is a FREE event to all spectators. The viewing hours are: Sun: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.; Mon-Fri:5 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Sat: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. There will also be a Heritage Display during the Saturday hours, where artists and crafters will be demonstrating their talents. Arts & Craft Street Fair

At the Arts & Crafts Street Fair we'll shut down an entire street for shopping and playing! If you’re a local artisan or crafter, local organization or church group, come on out and show us what you’ve got! The Arts & Crafts Street Fair is also an opportunity to together as a community and play-- or just talk and listen to great music. Join us at downtown Hamlin on Saturday, September 23, 2017 as we shut down Walnut Street for traffic and open it up for FUN! Vendor set up is from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Wheeling Arts & Culture Fest

Welcome to the 2017 Wheeling Arts & Culture Fest. The Arts Fest and the Upper Ohio Valley Multi-Cultural Festival have combined efforts to bring comprehensive arts & culture programming to the festival! The festival will be on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Wheeling Heritage Port. The Ohio County Library will continue to host additional literary and historical programming for the festival. The festival will include all of the great events from both festivals so if you are looking for the Artist Market or the Around the World Carnival, you will find it all. The admission-free event is open to everyone in the community and offers a variety of arts and cultural programs, including live music, visual arts, theatre, dance, literature, culinary demonstrations, historical arts, and much more.

Autumn Harvest Festival & WV RoadKill Cook-off

Join in on the fun at this legendary festival in the mountains of Pocahontas County including music by local bands, great food vendors throughout the festival, as well as lots of fun! A $5 ticket gets you in to the tasting area where you can sample all the RoadKill delicacies. There will be dozens of crafters from all over the region with handmade arts and crafts. Food by local non-profits with some yummy goodies. Come spend the day in our Appalachian home!

Arts and crafts are featured at Watoga! Juried artists will be at the picnic shelter area Saturday September 2 and Sunday, September 3, 2017. FestivALL Charleston

Join FestivALL as they turn a city into a work of art. Enjoy a multitude of art and entertainment at a variety of venues during WV's premier arts celebration. Arts & Crafts Mound Festival

The Annual Mound Festival will be held on Saturday, September 9th from 9AM to 5PM, in South Charleston Around the Mound on "D" Street. The Festival will have a wide assortment of West Virginia-made craft items, and there will be a few new attractions to the popular South Charleston event. The Festival usually have more than 100 vendors from across the state selling crafts and food. The Mound Festival is devoted to West Virginia arts and crafts. All vendors must be hand-crafted only -- no kits -- all hand-crafted. It's only open to West Virginia crafters. Examples include wood crafts, candles, jewelry, soaps, wreaths, swags and seasonal items for Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.

The Corky Brush Painting Class

Come and join us on Saturday, January 23, for our first ever painting class. All supplies are provided! Learn step-by-step techniques from a local artist. It will offer a fun atmosphere and an experience you will not forget.

Historic Arts Workshops: Tatting with Tabatha Holmes

Tatting is an 18th century form of lace making that originated in Europe. This class is open to anyone who would like to build their skill into a more advanced lace maker. Weather you need a refresher or want to go beyond just making rings, this is the class for you. Students will learn to use a second shuttle to make chains in your tatting. Please bring your shuttles and thread. If you don’t have them, then some will be provided. Advanced Class, Min 2 person class/ Max 6 person class
