Wild, Wonderful West Virginia Announces Mountaineer Casino as the location of the 2017 Governor’s Conference on Tourism

The annual conference will take place October 29-31 in Chester

CHARLESTON, West Virginia (November 30, 2016) – Wild, Wonderful West Virginia today announced the 2017 Governor’s Conference on Tourism will take place October 29-31, 2017 at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort in Chester.

“We look forward to hosting the 2017 Governor’s Conference on Tourism in beautiful New Cumberland, WV,” Commissioner of Tourism Amy Shuler Goodwin said.  “Wild, Wonderful West Virginia is excited to put together another great year of educational speakers, invigorating sessions, and networking opportunities as we continue to build and promote the tourism industry here in the Mountain State. I encourage everyone to mark their calendars – this is not to be missed!”

The annual conference, hosted by Wild, Wonderful West Virginia in collaboration with the West Virginia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus and the West Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association, provides tourism industry members valuable educational and networking opportunities.
