Hiking

In the Eastern Panhandle, both the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers offer great fishing near Harpers Ferry, while the New River is known for great smallmouth and largemouth bass. West Virginia is also home to scenic lakes like Summersville Lake, Flat Top Lake and Cheat Lake that are perfect for fishing and relaxation.
