Summersville Lake is West Virginia's #1 tourist attraction! Summersville Lake covers 2700 acres during the summer season and has about 65 miles of shoreline. It is over 300 ft. deep at the base of the dam. It is the cleanest, clearest freshwater lake east of the Mississippi River. It has the best freshwater lake diving east of the Mississippi. The marina offers overnight slips, pontoon boat rentals, ice, fuel, and sales. It also has "Sarge's Dive Shop", a full-service SDI / ERDI / NAUI dive facility. Sarge's provides scuba classes, rental gear, air, sales, kayak & canoe rentals, lake tours, and diving, swimming & snorkeling charters. Sarge's Dive Shop is also on Facebook.
