Ronceverte Historic District
Ronceverte, WV
Ronceverte Historic District is a 120-acre historic district in downtown Ronceverte. The oldest building dates back to 1810, but most of the building came about during the town’s lumber heyday in the 1870’s to 1890’s. Ronceverte’s rich lumber and railroad history is found everywhere from the historic depot and coaling tower located in the heart of the downtown, to the vast array of historic homes built to accommodate railroad and lumber executives, and medical and education professionals.
