Point Pleasant River Museum & Learning Center
Point Pleasant, WVThe museum focuses on river life and commercial enterprise. Displays highlight topics such as great floods, boat construction, sternwheel steamers, river disasters, The Silver Bridge Disaster of 1967 and the local river industry's contribution to World War II. The museum also offers a simulator where a person can pilot a boat on 7 different waters, a research library and a 2,400-gallon aquarium with Ohio River fish. The museum is Coast Guard certified and offers Radar Classes.
