Old Stone Presbyterian Church is church with a long history and a faithful future. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, the building was constructed in 1796 of native limestone and was approximately 44 feet square. In 1830 an extension was added to the west end to make the building 75x44 feet. The building has been in continuous use except for a brief period during the Civil War. The words carved in the stone above the entrance read, in part, "Give God the Glory."
