The North Fork Mountain Inn has been described as an outpost of luxury in the wilderness. This 10 room log cabin Inn features private bathrooms, king or queen size beds, some have fireplaces and/or Jacuzzi tubs. Our award winning chef features local and organic produce, herbs, beef, lamb, and actively promote farm to table products sourced in the Potomac Highlands. This Select Registry Inn has been awarded the Trip Advisor 5 Star Award of Excellence for 2014-2016. They feature a complete selection of fine wines and beers. West Virginia liquor laws require all alcohol consumed on premise to be purchased from the North Fork Mountain Inn. We are located adjacent to the Monongahela National Forest and you can hike to the Number 1 trail in West Virginia from the Inn, the North Fork Mountain trail. Enjoy stargazing from the hot tub on our deck. We are ideally located close to the South Branch of the North Fork of the Potomac River which is nationally known as a fisherman's paradise. This scenic upscale Inn overlooks the Smoke Hole Canyon and is the perfect getaway for peace, solitude, and relaxation for a much slower pace of life.
