The course dates back to the 1930's when the first nine holes were constructed (presently the back nine). The second nine holes were added in the1960's. The front nine is shorter than the back, but its fairways are narrower. Water comes into play on five holes over the course. The greens are small but undulating. The course is short by modern standards but it is deceptively tough.
The golf course, restaurant, and pool are open to the public. Golf tee time reservations are encouraged and can be reserved by calling the golf pro shop @ 1-304-645-3660. Many fine hotels and motels are conveniently located just minutes from the course.
