Anderson Lake is a 7-acre lake located within the City of Dunbar’s Wine Cellar Park in Kanawha County. The lake has a maximum depth of 33 feet and an average depth of 18 feet. Parking is 0.5 miles from the lake with a paved walking trail provided for those who like a short hike. By contacting Parks & Recreation, handicapped persons may acquire a key to open the gate to drive to the lake. Paths surrounding the lake provide good bank fishing access; or there is a Handicap accessible fishing pier. The lake provides fun for the young and old while fishing for trout, large-mouth bass, channel catfish and bluegill. Boating, camping, and the use of live minnows as bait are prohibited.
