The Guardians of the West Fork Watershed is a volunteer 501(c) (3) corporation dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the ecological integrity of the West Fork River, its tributaries, and its watershed. The organization was formed in 1997 and received its nonprofit 501 (c)(3) IRS status in 2002. It has a history of water quality improvement projects and created the West Fork River Water Trail.
