The Greenbrier, winter, aerial view

Welcome to the Greenbrier Valley! Long before English settlers claimed the region, it was largely uninhabited by anything but flora and fauna. With nearly three hundred years of progress, today’s visitors will find that many of the landmarks, first families and charm of small-town life are very much intact.

The 11,000-acre Greenbrier Resort attracts guests from around the globe. Relics of the county’s past, the Old Stone Church, Carnegie Hall, Alderson’s Store and other gathering places, have maintained their prominence in this vibrant valley. And the rivers and mountains that captivated the first settlers? Their inspiring beauty remains preserved and protected for our visitors to enjoy and explore.

This winter, uncover the many treasures that make the Greenbrier Valley something truly special. A place to relax and unwind, to share with friends and loved ones.
