The Clarksburg History Museum was founded in 2017 by a small group of dedicated volunteers. We opened our doors on November 11, 2018 as part of Clarksburg's Veterans' Day celebration. Our first exhibits honored our local veterans. We have been growing and expanding our offerings ever since. We are passionate about educating our community and passing on an appreciation for our art, history, and culture. Our goal is to ensure that visiting the Clarksburg History Museum is an enriching, exciting, and educational experience. Special events are held on a regular basis and school field trips were instituted in the fall of 2019.
