City of Bluefield
Bluefield, WVOnce called "little New York", the city of Bluefield's downtown area is famous for nine historical buildings, all registered on the National Register of Historic Places. In the summer, beautiful flowers and hanging baskets adorn the sidewalks. Summertime is also a perfect chance to get a free glass of lemonade, but only if the temperature in Bluefield reaches a scorching 90 degrees! The Norfolk-Southern railyard still runs, shipping coal to places outside the area.
