This location is ideal for all skill levels and offers easy stints of forest service roads as well as challenging feats like Black Bear Mountain trail.

Meeks Mountain Trails

Hurricane, WV

Found in the heart of the Metro Valley, Putnam County is home to charming small towns, beautiful parks and outdoor attractions. You won’t want to miss a rip-roaring ride at Meeks Mountain Trails, a trail system project that began in 2018 with a mission to build and sustain a network of trails for the health and well-being of the people. With currently over 20 miles of trails, this system continues to grow everyday.

Snowshoe Highlands Ride Center

Snowshoe, WV

Despite being known as the hub for winter activities, Snowshoe Mountain Resort is world-renown for its mountain biking opportunities. Home to the 2019 and 2021 UCI World Cup, Snowshoe Highlands Ride Center is scheduled to host the event again this year. With nearly 40 trails and 1,500 feet of vertical drop, there is no better place for new riders to build confidence. Being certified as a level Silver ride center, and the largest one on the East Coast, makes this location great for seasoned bikers as well.

Arrowhead Bike Farm

Fayetteville, WV

Find all you need for the ultimate mountain biker’s getaway at Arrowhead Bike Farm, just outside of Fayetteville. From equipment and gear to food and beer, this farm has it all. West Virginia’s newest National Park and Preserve provides easy access to trails, convenient parking and supreme mountain biking trails. This International Mountain Bicycling Association built trail system is composed of a stacked loop network of rides for beginners and experts alike.

Mountwood Park

Waverly, WV

Located in the Mid-Ohio Valley, Mountwood Park Family Campground has over 20 miles of well-maintained, scenic single-track trails. Put your endurance to the test with some burning uphill climbs only to be rewarded with an exhilarating downhill breeze.
