Tourism Field Trip Offering’s
Bird Count
Stop by the Nature Center to observe and count the birds at the feeders. We will count the highest number of each species seen at a time. Data collected will be submitted to Project FeederWatch for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. In addition this week’s bird counts will be submitted as part of the Annual Great Backyard Bird Count.
Age Groups and Other Requirements
All Ages Welcome and Tennis shoes are recommended.

Geology Rocks! At Pipestem Resort State Park. Presented by geologists from the West Virginia Economic and Geologic Survey, this program at the park amphitheater focuses on rocks, minerals and fossils found throughout the state on August 1st.
