The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum is the perfect spot to explore fall color. This historic facility, surrounded by deciduous trees, served as a sanctuary for the mentally ill in the mid-1800s. Explore museum rooms, take night-time paranormal tours, stay overnight for ghost hunts and much more. 👻

This annual event attracts thousands of adventurers from around the world to watch BASE jumpers take the daring dive over the New River Gorge Bridge. Go on an epic whitewater rafting trip on the New River, widely known as the second-oldest river in the world.
