The conductor will take you and up to five others to a remote location along the Greenbrier River – and then leave. The Castaway Caboose will serve as your personal riverside home for however long you prefer. Once the conductor leaves you and your group, you won’t see them (or anyone from the outside world, really) until they arrive to pick you up on the day you choose. The caboose comes complete with a refrigerator, range, heat, linens, towels, utensils, a DVD player, full-size shower and a restroom. The area is part of the National Radio Quiet Zone so you won’t need your cell phone and will truly be off the grid.
