The State Fair of West Virginia is the quintessential summer activity. The offerings run from the agricultural to the acrobatic, in the largest multi-day celebration in West Virginia. The State Fair of West Virginia constantly reinvents its successful formula with a new theme each year and new performances and exhibits. Each year features special ticketed performances by big name musical acts, which in past years have included the iconic country band, Alabama and popular Bluegrass singer, Allison Krauss. The free family entertainment also changes yearly with past popular acts featuring dare-devil motorcyclists, trained wolves, magic acts and wild tigers.
