Autumn Harvest Festival & WV RoadKill Cook-off

Join in on the fun at this legendary festival in the mountains of Pocahontas County including music by local bands, great food vendors throughout the festival, as well as lots of fun! A $5 ticket gets you in to the tasting area where you can sample all the RoadKill delicacies. There will be dozens of crafters from all over the region with handmade arts and crafts. Food by local non-profits with some yummy goodies. Come spend the day in our Appalachian home!

1863 Grill Cooking Class – Sushi Making

Add an extra dash of fine flavor to your kitchen with sizzling secrets from our chef. Learn to bake, simmer, grill and more in 1863 Grill’s Cooking Classes taught by our own Executive Chef, Jason Fleck. You’ll get to craft your own delicious dishes, and take home not only a gift bag and some leftovers, but also skills you can apply to your meals at home. Register for classes before they fill up! We keep them small so every student can get personal attention. Classes will last from 2-4 hours depending on the subject matter. Call 304.637.1863 to Register. SUSHI MAKING SATURDAY, APRIL 9, 2016, 12 PM Get hands-on instruction, and craft your own sushi rolls. Chef Jason will demonstrate the techniques and then you’ll get an opportunity to give it a try. You’ll have sushi snacks throughout the day, plus you’ll have rolls and a goody bag to take home along with your new knowledge. We’ll also give you an opportunity to purchase hard-to-locate sushi ingredients so you can use your new skills at home. | $60 per person, limited to 20 people
