The 4th Annual West Virginia Day Festival will be held at the Holly Gray Park in Braxton County just miles from the Flatwoods exit and nestled in the beautiful mountains of North central WV. Prayer of America Symposium
In conjunction with the play a Prayer of America by playwright Tom Detitta and being performed at the Fairmont State University. Pricketts Fort and Fairmont State University will host a historical symposium about the Monongha Mine disaster in 1907 with various speakers talking about the mine explosion and the aftermath, its relief efforts and the impact it had on the families.
