The Annual Stand Against Racism Day Program Featuring: The Project on Racism Essay Contest

The MLK Commission, in conjunction with the YWCA Wheeling hosts annually, The Project on Racism Essay Contest that honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while encouraging grades K-12 students’ creativity through essay writing. This year, first, second and third place winners will be recognized and the first place winners will read their essays. The celebration will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 3:30 PM in the Lower Rotunda of the State Capitol. Join Us and Take a Stand!
