WIZARDING WEEKEND: WEST VIRGINIA'S FIRST EVER WIZARDING EVENT The Resort at Glade Springs, located in Daniels, West Virginia, is hosting a weekend of spellbinding adventure this Labor Day weekend. This family event, scheduled for Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1, 2018 is dedicated to capturing the spirit of magic and enchantment. Railfan Weekend at the Elkhorn Inn

Dinner Theatre at Elkhorn Inn
October 19-21, the Elkhorn Inn in Landgraff, WV is hosting a unique and special "Mark Twain-Stonewall Jackson Dinner Theater Weekend," with Chef Dan Dinners and Breakfasts. Free, public performances by Doug Riley will bring Mark Twain and Stonewall Jackson to life all weekend! Mr. Riley is known statewide for his performances as Twain and Jackson for the West Virginia Humanities Council's "History Alive!" program, and his performances are sure to entertain. Fire & Ice Festival
It's time to shake off winter and welcome warmer weather. The first annual Fire & Ice Festival will do just that. Witness ice carving masterpieces, a demonstration, and then watch as fire and ice battle it out in the Ice Tower. Live music by Emmalea Deal and Treet. Chef Jon Stone will also be smoking his 1000th pig. (Dinner available for $25+tax).

Easter Buffet and Egg Hunt at The Resort at Glade Springs
Everyone is invited to join The Resort at Glade Springs for our annual spring tradition: our Easter Buffet and Egg Hunt, Sunday April 16 2017 with seatings at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm in our Bright Ballroom. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet of traditional Easter favorites prepared under the direction of our Executive Chef Randy Forsythe. Then, make sure you have your cameras ready for our Easter Egg Hunt! Kids will delight in finding hundreds of prize-filled eggs hidden throughout the Resort, and will have a chance to meet the Big Bunny, too! Shepherdstown Rotary Club Wine-Tasting Dinner
The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown, WV, will hold its annual wine-tasting dinner on Friday, March 10. The event will be held at the Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown starting at 6:30 p.m. Members of the community are welcome to attend. Admission is $70 per person; $20 of that amount is tax-deductible. The event, now in its 16th year, includes an elegant multi-course dinner featuring wines carefully chosen to complement each course. Wine expert Christina Morris Thornton, of Winesellers Ltd. and The Country Vintner, will preside over the dinner, explaining the history and characteristics of the various wines served. The wines will come from the Inn's award-winning wine list, which contains over 600 different labels.
