Beats on the Basin: Deer Creek Boys

These Virginia natives are definitely a local favorite. Their energetic picking and hard hitting harmonies have earned them a respectable place in Bluegrass music and the festival scene, and we’re stoked to bring them back to the Mountain for your listening pleasure.

Beats on the Basin: The Spanglers

This not-so-typical family band hails from Lewisburg, WV, in our neighboring Greenbrier County. Their sound is an innovative blend of Americana Roots music and interesting experimentation that’s sure to get your foot tapping and hips swaying.

The Get Right Band has been called “hip-shaking, earth-quaking pure funk fun,” while others have said they have “tight and diverse jams and a distinctive intellectual but accessible world view.” The band is widely recognized as an up-and-coming progressive musical force to be reckoned with and we’re pretty stoked to see what they’re all about.

Beats on the Basin: Pimps of Joytime

Three bands for FREE in one night? Yep. Not sure what’s gotten into us, but I am sure you’ll thank us for it later. Beats on the Basin: The Gin Blossoms

Ever wanted to go to sleep and wake up back in 1995? Yeah, we have too, and we figured what better way to do that than by hosting the one and only 1990s favorite pop rock sensations, the Gin Blossoms. Go ahead and crimp your hair and break out the JNCO jeans. This is sure to be an epic blast from the past.

Beats on the Basin: The Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers
