Browse the storefronts along Richwood's Historic Main Street at our annual Hometown Holiday Marketplace on Saturday, December 9th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Watoga Art in the Park

Watoga Art in the Park – bringing together artists and the great outdoors. Watoga Art in the Park features a great fun- filled weekend for families set in one of West Virginia's most beautiful parks – Watoga State Park. The juried fine art and craft fair will feature some of the region's most impressive artists and craftspeople showcasing jewelry, pottery, fiber, glass, photography, painting and much more Find that perfect gift for a loved one or yourself. Along with showcasing fine art for purchase, there will be eight professional artists, instructing in 22 workshops throughout the two-day event to help you create your own work of art. Learn pastels, watercolors, or acrylics from accomplished artists, watch and participate in wood-fire pottery or blacksmithing, make your own mask and paint or decorate it, check out white oak basketry, as well as yoga and art therapy. Join in one or all three nature walks lead by a Watoga State Park Naturalist. Learn about birds and then return to paint what you observed, make a clay dish using some of the natural materials you'll find along your walk, or check out the hike where you learn to identify animal footprints. In the evening you can participate in an Owl Prowl and the even make owl houses to take home with you. There will be great music both days as well as a variety of foods. Kids Corner open all day. Morgantown Farmers Market

Shop local at the weekly Summer Farmers Market, Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - noon at the Morgantown Market Place on Spruce Street. More than twenty vendors will offer a variety of fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs, cheese, jams, jellies, nuts, honey, meats, woolen products, soaps, etc. all produced within 50 miles. Come to the market this week to hear musician Jeffrey Carver and a cooking demonstration by Kimberly Williams. Shoppers can use cash or market tokens purchased with credit/debit/SNAP cards, or WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers at approved vendors.

Secret Kitchens of Wheeling Tour and Gourmet Market

Enjoy a voyeuristic tour of some of Wheeling’s spectacular kitchens Saturday, June 10 during the Secret Kitchens of Wheeling Tour & Gourmet Market. Begin the self-guided tour between 10am-2pm at the Mansion Museum in Oglebay. You’ll receive a map guiding you to home kitchens tucked away in some of Wheeling’s finest neighborhoods. Kitchens provide design inspiration. You’ll take away ideas for kitchen re-dos and discover simple ways to transform an existing space too! In addition, guests can shop the Gourmet Market from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. outside the Mansion Museum. Merchants and artisans sell kitchen accessories, artwork, baskets, gourmet foods and much more. Morgantown Summer Farmers Market Begins!

ArtWalk

Typically held the third Thursday of each month, participating shops and organizations extend their hours for browsing, shopping and mingling. Attendees can stroll along at their own pace, dip in and out of stores and stop off along the way for a bite to eat at a downtown restaurant. This well-loved family-friendly event takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. and attracts art aficionados as well as folks who just want to get out and try something new. Small Business Saturday

Main Street Morgantown will be promote Small Business Saturday, November 25th, this year. We will hold this event Downtown from 10 am – 4 pm. This year shoppers will have the opportunity to win one (1) of four (4) downtown gift baskets, valued up to $500. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be here for parents to take their kids pictures. Cabin Fever Craft Show

Celebrate Spring’s arrival with the Cabin Fever Craft Show featuring local artisans and their handmade goods. Visit historic Arthurdale’s Center Hall on Saturday March 25 to shake the winter blues and shop locally made treasures. Holiday Open House in White Sulphur Springs
