This is a self-guided exhibit which showcases hundreds of nativity scenes from over 100 nations, and the cost is FREE! 

St. Albans History and Mystery Tour

Take a 1.5 mile walk through St. Albans, learning about the history and legends surrounding the town. Two formats of tours: guided ($10 for adults, $5 for children) and self-guided ($5 for adults, $2.50 for children). Bring a canned good for $1 off each ticket (must be undamaged and not expired) for donation to a St. Albans charity. (Limit 1 can per person for discount.)

Berkeley Springs Studio Tour

This is a free, self-guided tour of artists studios in and around Berkeley Springs, WV. You'll see contemporary and traditional art and fine crafts in many different media as artists demonstrate and describe the processes they use to create their unique work. Studios will be open from 10AM until 5PM on both days. See works being created and creations displayed for sale.

Secret Kitchens of Wheeling Tour and Gourmet Market

Enjoy a voyeuristic tour of some of Wheeling’s spectacular kitchens Saturday, June 10 during the Secret Kitchens of Wheeling Tour & Gourmet Market. Begin the self-guided tour between 10am-2pm at the Mansion Museum in Oglebay. You’ll receive a map guiding you to home kitchens tucked away in some of Wheeling’s finest neighborhoods. Kitchens provide design inspiration. You’ll take away ideas for kitchen re-dos and discover simple ways to transform an existing space too! In addition, guests can shop the Gourmet Market from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. outside the Mansion Museum. Merchants and artisans sell kitchen accessories, artwork, baskets, gourmet foods and much more. Market shopping is free, and participation in the tour is not required to shop. Get Tickets for Secret Kitchens of Wheeling Tickets are $17 in advance and $20 the day of the event. Bramwell’s Spring Tour of Historic Homes

Go back in time and visit the town of Millionaires with a self-guided walking tour featuring rows of Victorian homes built during the height of the West Virginia coal industry. The homes date back to the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Quaint brick streets line the way, with delightful stores and restaurants on Bramwell’s Main Street.

Penitentiary Photography Tour

$100/person Photography License Agreement available Introducing West Virginia Penitentiary’s Photography Tour! This is not a guided tour, you will be roaming at your own pace and leisure after a brief walk-through. The gate will be opened approximately 15 minutes prior to the tour time for check-in. Each photographer is responsible for their own equipment, and is required to sign a waiver/agreement upon check-in. June, July, and August you will be sharing the facility with tour groups. We ask that you refrain from blocking doors and pathways, and keep the floor clear of equipment that may cause a hazard to guests. During your photography tour, you will be allowed access to areas that are not accessible to the public on a regular basis. The areas that are available during a photography tour are as follows: (a map is available upon request) The Sugar Shack The Boiler Room The Infirmary The Psych Ward North and South recreation yards North Hall and New Wall (cell blocks) Visitation Kitchen and Cafeteria You do not have to be a professional photographer to take advantage of this opportunity. We welcome professionals, amateurs, artists, and everyone in between! You may bring drinks and snacks, NO ALCOHOL. Please pick up and dispose of your mess. There is no heat or air conditioning throughout our facility. The building will be extremely HOT in the summer and extremely COLD in the winter. Please dress according to the weather! We will NOT postpone due to rain, this is a rain-or-shine event. Tickets are Non-Refundable and MUST be purchased online.
