Join us for our 3rd Annual Charleston Seafood Week October 22-29 where restaurants around the city will help our campaign and encourage people to enjoy seafood more frequently. Fayetteville’s Merchant Mix & Match

Looking for something fun to do? Come check out Fayetteville’s Merchant Mix and Match! The Fayetteville Merchants are hosting this event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the last Thursday of every month. Come take a stroll around downtown Fayetteville as your favorite locally owned shops and restaurants pair up for this fun event. You will find restaurants giving out free samples in your favorite shops and shops set up at restaurants. Enjoy live music and fun activities throughout town during the event. This event will give you a chance to see what makes Fayetteville so unique. Stop by the Fayetteville Convention & Visitors Bureau for information and join us for a kids craft hosted by the Fayetteville Arts Coalition. Join in on some Karaoke fun while sampling fresh juice from the Raw & Juicy Bar.

Putnam Tastes and Talents Month

Putnam County is home to a wealth of artists, artisans, musicians and writers. Tastes and Talents features these creatives in fun and engaging ways. Enjoy specials at locally-owned restaurants throughout Putnam County in March. Attend our Putnam County Artisans pop-up shop, take an art class, listen to local musicians, or meet local authors at events throughout the county. This powerful presentation by Jonathan Cavendish will transport you to the events leading up to the Hawks Nest Disaster. Growing up as the son of Stanley Cavendish, a Gauley Bridge native who was the project engineer for the construction of the Hawks Nest Tunnel, he will unfold tales from his childhood along with unseen historical photos.
