After a wonderful plated dinner, sit back and listen to the fabulous Mountain Memories Show Band as they serve up a 2 hour Branson-style show with music from the 50’s- today featuring Country, Pop, Motown, Gospel, and Patriotic along with family-friendly comedy and amazing dancers. Gandy Dancer Theatre – Dinner & Tribute to Musical Legends Show

Two hour musical tribute to legendary artists who have touched our hearts through the ages...including Reba McIntyre, Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Elvis, Loretta Lynn and many more. 14th Annual Oyster Feast

Historic Graceland Restaurant on the campus of Davis & Elkins College will host the 14th annual Oyster Feast from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, February 3. The menu includes tossed garden salad, traditional cole slaw, oyster stew, fried oysters, oyster stuffing, fresh oysters on the half shell, Southern sautéed shrimp over pasta, crab balls with pineapple salsa, grilled steak with peppers, onions and mushrooms, roasted potatoes, green beans, rolls, green onion and bacon cornbread and assorted pies. WV’s Premiere Wedding Expo

WV's Premiere Wedding Expo is going to be held at the Bridgeport Conference Center on Sunday, October 29th from noon until 4:00pm. This is the first "state focused" bridal fair, and it is our mission to feature our beautiful state as a destination for engagements, weddings and honeymoons. We will also be showcasing the best vendors the state has to offer. There will be a guest speaker from The Knot, and representatives from WV Weddings will be onsite. This bridal expo will be like none other, as there will be a Princess Parlor for our brides to be, and a Man Cave to keep the grooms to be entertained. Vendors: we are only permitting 2 businesses per classification, and we want a large variety of wedding specific vendors. Hurry and reserve your spot today. Brides: you will receive a goody bag at the door with coupons and promotional items from participating vendors plus a program book about the show. Summer Tea Luncheon

Holiday and Seasonal Tea Luncheons are held on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. Traditionally served full luncheon tea fare is offered, including assorted tea sandwiches/savories, scones with sweet cream and jam, fresh fruit, sweets and gourmet tea. Reservations required.

Adaland Mansion at Philippi hosts the Blue & Gray Tea as part of the Blue & Gray Reunion in Philippi. The annual June event draws reenactors in Civil War era attire and also those who love teas and enjoy seeing all the period clothing. Relax with us at the Elk Valley Express Library and make a wintry sock snowman. All materials and step-by-step instructions will be provided. There is a limit of 10 participants. 8th annual Little Princess Ball – North Bend State Park

Bring your little princess (ages 5 – 12) to North Bend State Park's 8th Annual Little Princess Ball. Celebrate with dinner, a father / daughter dance, arts and crafts, and much more! Dress your daughter in her favorite party dress and be prepared to make some special memories. Photos will be taken of fathers and daughters. Radio personality and DJ, Jack Horton from V96.9 in Parkersburg will be playing all your favorite hits.
