Millennium Quilters 2018 Quilt Show

Millennium Quilters will be hosting the 2018 Quilt Show at the Village Square Conference Center. The show will feature 150+ quilts, vendors, Bits and Pieces Boutique, quilt raffle, fat quarter basket raffle, and the Millennium Village. Have your "Passport" stamped by each vendor to be entered in prize drawings. Please visit our website for entry forms or online registration, vendor information, and program ad information. We will again award monetary prizes for 1st Place ($100), 2nd Place ($50), and 3rd Place ($25) in all categories. Admission: $6; children 12 and under admitted free. Hours: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Friday April 13; 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday April 14.

Appalachian Children’s Chorus ‘Blue Jean Ball’

The Blue Jean Ball is the social event of the fall! Dress in your blue jeans, add some bling and come dance with us! River Jam will play live for guests to show their moves on the dance floor. ACC's Concert Choir will sing a few tunes with the band. There will be plenty of food, but it’s not a full, sit down dinner. Be prepared to enjoy delicious bites and small plate servings as you mix and mingle with friends. Exciting items will be available as part of special raffle.

West Virginia Bites and Brews

Enjoy craft beer, delicious food, and great music at West Virginia Bites and Brews. Spark! Imagination and Science Center is hosting the 2nd Annual West Virginia Bites & Brews on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the WV National Guard Readiness Center at 90 Army Way in Morgantown. West Virginia Bites & Brews offers attendees samples of “bites” from local food trucks and mobile vendors as well tastes of several microbrews. There will be huge raffle baskets and amazing music from local band, Main Street Hustle. Cost is $40 per person for “bites and brews” and $30 for “bites only”. There is a $5 discount per ticket when purchased before April 1, 2017. Tickets are available at the Museum and online at sparkwv.yapsody.com.

Drafts on Deckers!

You can't have good beer without good water, right? Join us to support Friends of Deckers Creek at the second annual Drafts on Deckers Beer Tasting on Friday, October 21st. Held in the basement of Morgantown Brewing Company, the event will feature craft beers from breweries across West Virginia, as well as Greg Short Music, The High Street Jazz Band and Weary Space Wanderer, trivia, and a raffle. Summer Soiree

The Trillium Performing Arts Collective is hosting their second annual Summer Soiree on Saturday, June 11 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Greenbrier Convention and Visitors Bureau. Trillium has been encouraging artistic expression and creative opportunities in the Greenbrier Valley since 1982. The evening will feature a dinner catered by The Bakery on Court Street; local brews from the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company, wine, and soft drinks; live music and a DJ; dancing; and a raffle, with various prizes donated by local businesses. Tickets are $60 each or $100 per pair, and may be purchased at the Trillium office, at the Greenbrier Convention and Visitors Bureau, or online at www.summersoiree2016.brownpapertickets.com.
