The Mountain State Forest Festival is one of the largest and oldest festivals in West Virginia originating in 1930. The
Millennium Quilters will be hosting the 2018 Quilt Show at the Village Square Conference Center. The show will feature 150+ quilts, vendors, Bits and Pieces Boutique, quilt raffle, fat quarter basket raffle, and the Millennium Village. Have your "Passport" stamped by each vendor to be entered in prize drawings. Please visit our website for entry forms or online registration, vendor information, and program ad information. We will again award monetary prizes for 1st Place ($100), 2nd Place ($50), and 3rd Place ($25) in all categories. Admission: $6; children 12 and under admitted free. The WV Strawberry Festival is a unique, traditional celebration to honor the strawberry harvest. Heritage Days is a two day event celebrating the rich central West Virginia culture and history. The event features a Civil War Reenactment in the City of Spencer, encampments at Spencer Civil War Park, square dancing, old-time music, seminars on old time traditional cooking, quilting, presentations by General Stonewall Jackson, museums, and much more.
