Eleanor JEEPfest

Join us in Eleanor, West Virginia for the First Annual Eleanor JEEPfest for a weekend of Jeeps, fun and friends. We will kick the weekend off on Friday evening with a Show & Shine along with vendors, food, and music. Saturday will be a full day of obstacle course runs, trail rides, vendors, food, and will end the day with a bon fire that evening. Sunday, we will be back at the obstacle course and more trail rides before wrapping up that evening. Camping spots are available for campers and tents to stay the weekend with us. Kids 12 and under are FREE! (Must be accompanied by an adult).

Nitro Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting

The City of Nitro hosts its Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Saturday, Dec. 9 starting at 4 p.m. The parade route runs from Pickens Road/1st Avenue to 21st Street and then on to Living Memorial Park. Officials will light the city’s Christmas tree, and free pictures with Santa and cocoa will be available.

Meow Cat Rescue WV presents Vera Bradley Designer Purse Bingo

Meow Cat Rescue WV will host a Vera Bradley Designer Purse Bingo with LuLaRoe at 6 p.m., Saturday, August 26th at the NITRO Moose Lodge, 101 1st Ave, Nitro, WV. We have over $5,000 worth of authentic purses from Vera Bradley and LuLaRoe too! Doors will open promptly at 4:30 p.m. and BINGO starts at 6 p.m. Admission is $20 prior to the event and $25 at the door and includes 9 faces per game/20 games in a packet. There will also be special raffle games, 50/50 raffle, extra game packets, silent auction items and concessions. There is also a special gift for the first 100 paid participants THRU the door. Buffalo Octoberfest

Whether you’re a crafter, food vendor, music fan, parent, or kid who’s just looking for some fun, the Buffalo Octoberfest promises to serve your needs. This year’s 29th Annual Octoberfest is planned for Saturday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m, on the grounds of the Buffalo Shopping Center, located next to the old Buffalo High School and one mile north of the Toyota plant on Route 62. Vendors, crafters, churches, clubs, and businesses are invited to set up a booth for free to sell their wares or get exposure for their group. Come out this year, and take advantage of the free parking, free admission, and many free activities!
