Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad – Fall Foliage Trips

Our regular excursion is a 3-hour trip that goes southbound through the Trough to Sycamore Bridge and back. (It is approximately 35 miles round-trip.) There is no layover; passengers stay on-board. Fall foliage Trough Trips are offered every day October 1-28: Monday-Friday at 1pm; Saturdays and Sundays at 10am & 2:30pm, except Sunday, October 28, Trough Trip is at 1pm (final day of the season). Reservations highly recommended; required for Club Car service. Book online or by phone.

Mother’s Day Trough Trip – Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad

Enjoy a 3-hour round-trip from Romney to Sycamore Bridge. Travel along along the South Branch of the Potomac River through the Trough, a steep narrow gorge where American bald eagles nest.

South Side Depot – Fall Train Rides

Petersburg Fall Foliage Specials in Grant County, WV: These 1.5-hour round-trips depart the South Side Depot in Petersburg and go north to south Moorefield. A great express trip to see the fall foliage!
