In 2015, a group of friends christened their favorite weekend as Shadefest, a multi-day music festival that prides itself on its grassroots beginning and familial atmosphere. The story continues at the beautiful Pegasus Farm in Elkins, WV. As our team prepares to launch the festival’s fourth official year, we invite you to join the experience that is our Shadefest family. This year, Shadefest has partnered with the Richmond SPCA in a charitable arrangement and will donate a portion of its proceeds to the organization. West Virginia Cares Festival is a new regional event celebrating all that we CARE about this great Mountain State. WE CARE about our people, our veterans, our culture, our environment, our history, our talent and our future. The two-day event features Appalachian music, dance, arts, crafts, foods, the hospitality of mountain folk and many other events.
