Always…Patsy Cline

Always…Patsy Cline shares a story of respect, support, friendship, and talent that goes beyond what most fans get to experience with their idols. A musical by Ted Swindley Production of West Virginia Public Theatre, it focuses on Louise Seger’s fond memories of Cline and her love of her friend’s music.

The Buckhannon Community Theatre is proud to announce its upcoming production of “Always, Patsy Cline” directed by Jason A. Young. “Always…Patsy Cline” is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. The show is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death.
