New River Gorge Fest
RUBBIN RUBBERZ RAFT RACE: Monday, May 28th. We are super excited to bring you this unique raft race! This race will be held in the lower section of the NRG. The format of the race will be a head-to-head sprint race broken up into multiple elimination rounds. Each heat will be held in a different rapid. For example Heat 1 will be held in Upper Railroad rapid. The winner of each heat will move onto the next heat. Raft length will be 14 ft (give or take 1 foot in length. Each team will have 4 paddlers. A video with a better explanation will soon be posted. GET YOUR TEAM TOGETHER! ACE ADVENTURE USED GEAR SWAP: Memorial Day weekend. Bring in your used gear to sell! Mountaineer Strong Race
Join us in Almost Heaven--West Virginia--and flex those mountaineer muscles. For the inaugural Mountaineer Strong, racers will whitewater raft with a guide on Class III-V rapids down the New River, mountain bike on amazing trails in the New River Gorge, and trek through the beautiful ACE Adventure Resort property. This Appalachian state, covered with rugged mountains and river valleys, has long been known for its epic outdoor pursuits. Once you finish this race, we hope you’ll have a deeper understanding of WV’s state motto: Montani Semper Liberi (“Mountaineers are always free”).

This year, that will be January 28, and the dinner we present to mark it will be unforgettable, all year long. Knight of Murder Mystery Dinner
Don your Renaissance duds and dive into character during this dinner with a show starring...you and your friends! New Year’s Eve at Smokey’s on the Gorge
Ring it in right—right on the rim of the New River Gorge, that is! We’ll have all the food, revels and music you can stand. Live music by the Wild Rumpus. Please party responsibly: have a designated driver or rent a cabin! $55 for just dinner, or $70 for dinner, the party and champagne toast at midnight. With over 1,500 acres there are many dark corners for creatures to hide. As you move from building to building keep on your toes because you never know who or what is watching you. Feeling really brave and think you are fast? Challenge the pack of zombies unleashed Halloween day while you compete against other victims...we mean racers in ACE's first 5k zombie run. New River Gorgeous Trail Run
