Morgantown Summer Farmers Market Begins!
Weekly Summer Farmers Market begins this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Morgantown Market Place on Spruce Street. More than twenty vendors will offer a variety of fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs, cheese, jams, jellies, nuts, honey, locally raised meats, woolen products, soaps, etc. all produced within 50 miles. This week the market will feature a cooking demo by Cindy Gay, information from Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds/Try this, and music by violinist Michael Ginsburg, and proximity to the High Street Bazaar (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.). Shoppers can use cash or market tokens purchased with credit/debit/SNAP cards, or WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers at approved vendors.
