Augusta Folks Art for Kids “Exploring Art Through Times” will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. Aug. 7-11 on the Davis & Elkins College campus. Instructed by artist Kylie Proudfoot-Payne children will explore visual art and heritage crafts through the creation of a variety of art projects. Students will paint, print, weave, bind, mold, sew, experiment, square dance and much more as they learn about how the heritage crafts are connected to the world today. They will have the opportunity to experience the wider Augusta program through coordination with other Augusta instructors. Registration is open at www.augustaheritagecenter.org.
