West Virginia Mountain State Gospel Singers -June Convention

The West Virginia State Gospel Singing Convention strives to preserve the old-time camp meeting and singing traditions with the annual sings held in June, July, and September. The facility is in the farm section of Nicholas County with approximately 30 acres of beautifully kept grounds. It is a place where families can plan for a weekend of camping with good old fashioned fun or just come for a day and enjoy some of the best of Gospel singers from WV and several surrounding states. Tabenacle with inside seating - ALL SINGERS WELCOME- Campground: Tent, camper, motor home or bus....modern restrooms, showers, limited electric (light, fan & amp; ref. only), dump station, food service available during each singing session. No charge for camping (Donations accepted to help with utilities, ground maintenance, and sound equipment) Handicap friendly. Pets on leash. Tour busses welcome. Location: 791 Song Convention Road - Located approximately 2 miles East of the intersection of US-19 and WV-129, South of Summersville, WV.

Gospel Sing

Gospel sing will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, October 23 in Robbins Memorial Chapel on the Davis & Elkins College campus. The sing is part of Augusta’s October Old-Time Week, October 16-21, featuring West Virginia musicians.
