Blenko Festival of Glass

A selection of classes are offered for all ages within the factory. During this event, visitors will have the rare opportunity to view our skilled artisans at work as well as be able to participate in a variety of classes related to the glass making process. From hot glass to crafts with wood, glass and glue for youngsters, special prices, tours, signing event and family activities. Family fun. Classes fill quickly. Glass Craft Activity and Open House

Join the Watts Museum in celebrating West Virginia's glass heritage during Mountaineer Week. Make a tissue paper stained glass craft or an etched piece of glassware, and then explore the current museum exhibit, "Molded in the Mountains: The Glass Industry in West Virginia." All ages welcome. Free of cost, refreshments provided.

Hot Fuel, Way Back Weekend presented by State Electric Supply Co.

The heat is on! Learn all about the fire that fueled 19th-century Appalachian progress. Get up close with glass making and pottery firing, and engage your senses in a live blacksmith shop! Tickets are $15 adult and $10 child (2 and under, free) or purchase an Annual Saturday pass, which will give you entry into every Saturday, including Way Back Weekends, valid for one year after purchase date.
