West Virginia Mountain State Gospel Singers -June Convention

The West Virginia State Gospel Singing Convention strives to preserve the old-time camp meeting and singing traditions with the annual sings held in June, July, and September. The facility is in the farm section of Nicholas County with approximately 30 acres of beautifully kept grounds. It is a place where families can plan for a weekend of camping with good old fashioned fun or just come for a day and enjoy some of the best of Gospel singers from WV and several surrounding states. Tabenacle with inside seating - ALL SINGERS WELCOME- Campground: Tent, camper, motor home or bus....modern restrooms, showers, limited electric (light, fan & amp; ref. only), dump station, food service available during each singing session. No charge for camping (Donations accepted to help with utilities, ground maintenance, and sound equipment) Handicap friendly. Pets on leash. Tour busses welcome. Location: 791 Song Convention Road - Located approximately 2 miles East of the intersection of US-19 and WV-129, South of Summersville, WV.

The 51st Annual Pioneer Days

YES! Pioneers is back with new activities and events. Great homecoming style festival celebrating 51 wonderful years as the premiere festival in the region. Featuring bluegrass music, a fireman's parade, a grand parade, food concessions, old-fashioned games, and demonstrations.

The Christmas Shoppe Vendor & Craft Show

Backroads & BBQ @ Hamilton Round Barn

Back by popular demand, Marion County’s local bluegrass band, Backroads, will preform their final concert of the season at the Hamilton Round Barn in Mannington. Food concessions will also be available.

Augusta Festival and Craft Fair

The Augusta Festival celebrates Appalachian heritage arts and folk life with a juried craft fair, live music, dancing, workshops, craft demonstrations and children’s activities. This year’s juried Craft Fair includes more than 50 of the region’s finest artisans selling their unique creations. Concessions will be available.

1st Annual Paw Paw Festival

This is a great way way to bring communities together and instill a sense of community pride and knowledge of our history to others. Ellie's is offering a special just for kids that day! Any Kiddie Cone for only $1.50. So come on out and enjoy an evening for the whole family! We are looking for more vendors that would like to participate during the festival. This can include merchandise, crafts, antiques, products, lemonade, etc. There is NO fee to set up.
