Downtown Charleston ArtWalk

With exciting and unique offerings around every corner, Downtown Charleston ArtWalk celebrates the arts on the third Thursday each month March through December, except in November and June when the event falls on Black Friday and the week of FestivALL, respectively. There is a plethora of art-related events and openings, activities, and special programming that takes place all over downtown.

FestivALL Charleston will celebrate FestivALL Fall for its 7th consecutive year. The festival will extend the popular city-wide multi-arts summer

Mountain Stage welcomes back veteran jamgrass group the Yonder Mountain String Band, IBMA entertainers of the year Balsam Range, alt-folk journeyman Peter Case, sensational young traditional band from Quebec, Les Poules à Colin, and a return appearance from Australia's pop duo Oh Pep!

Brown Bag Concert Series

Grab your lunch from a Downtown Charleston restaurant and make your way to Davis Park for free live music the third Wednesday of the month May - September 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Brown Bag specials will be offered at participating downtown Charleston restaurants on the day of the concerts. Presented by the Charleston Area Alliance and sponsored by American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM), the free event gives people the opportunity to get away from their desk, enjoy some live music and connect with others in the community.

West Virginia Culture Center 40th Anniversary

For 40 years, the Culture Center has been the premier welcome center for our state. Featuring the West Virginia State Museum and the West Virginia Archives, it is a special place to celebrate and discover more about our state’s heritage, culture and history. There will be special exhibits, presentations and music for the day.
