HallowEast 9 Lives Costume Crawl

The freaks come out at night! The annual Costume Crawl kicks off at 6 p.m. with registration on Washington Street East! A variety of drink specials are available to those who register as well as live entertainment and tons of freaky fun! Register now to receive a HallowEast t-shirt and can coozie – supplies are limited! Schedule of Events: 6 PM – 8 PM: Coach Kidd from Electric 102.7FM will be spinning your favorite spooky tunes! 8 PM – 9 PM: The Spanglers take the stage 9 PM – 9:30 PM: The Crawl for the Crown!!! All in costume can participate in the battle for the best costume of the night from our special guest judges! No need to register in advance – sign up the night of the event. The Ms. and Mr. HallowEast winners will receive a special package courtesy of Mike Winland-Studios 9:30 PM – 11 PM :Headliners – Beggars Clan Times are subject to change.

Cass Halloween Train

Come out in full costume to enjoy this family friendly ride this Halloween season! Live music and a hot dog roast will take place at Whittaker Station with fun and candy for all.

3rd Annual Mini Con

Super heroes and friends will be in Ripley for this event. Games, crafts, contests and quests will be part of the festivities. Costumes are encouraged.

Augusta Heritage Center’s Halloween Square Dance

Augusta Heritage Center’s Halloween Square Dance, presented by the Augusta Heritage Center of Davis & Elkins College, will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, October 21 in the Pit Dance Studio in Myles Center for the Arts on the campus of Davis & Elkins College. A beginners workshop starts at 7:45 p.m. Music will be provided by the Old-Time Week Staff Band with calling by Lou Maiuri. General admission is $6 or $4 for students. Those who come in costume will receive a $1 admission discount. The dance is part of Augusta’s October Old-Time Week, October 16-21, featuring West Virginia musicians.
