Tribute to the River

Come and join Mason County's river community for a tribute to the men and women who work on the river. Tow boat tours and rides. Line throw and Corn Hole contests. Maritime exhibits and children's games. Sternwheeler Parade. Fireworks Saturday night. Outstanding food and family entertainment on the Ohio River.

Penitentiary Kid’s Night

From 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., we invite children ages 1 – 6 to join us in the Moundsville Training Center (located through the North Wagon Gate) for KID’S NIGHT! This is a trick-or-treat style event, where children will spend time gathering goodies from several tables, playing games, taking pictures on a fire truck, face painting, and having FUN. Kids Ages 1-6 $5.00/child Adults are Free

Dunbar Fall Festival (Street Fair)

City of Dunbar Annual Street Fair - Arts and Crafts, food vendors and live entertainment. There will be special games and activities for kids of all ages on Saturday afternoon through 8:00 p.m. Friday night's entertainment will be Grass Stains Bluegrass Band, Stonestreet Band and The Chase. Saturday's entertainment will include No Regret Band, Tommy Griffith, The Black Diamond and Kenny Evans from the Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge. Sunday's entertainment will include, but not limited to, Dunbar Ministries combined Choir and Squire Parsons will perform at 3:00 p.m.
